Lessons for Models, Actors, Extras and Non-Stunt Riders
We pride ourselves on being able to teach the most nervous Model or Actor how to ride and be around horses without having to worry. We have extremely quiet, highly trained horses which are especially selected to make an Actor or Model feel at ease and able to deliver their best without the worry of being around these large animals, which we understand can be a worrying experience for people if they are not used to it.
For Actors or Models that can already ride, we can take them from the basic walking shots to being able to trot and canter and if they want to, perform a rear etc.
All lessons are strictly supervised and we adopt a safety first policy at all times.
Lessons are progressive and the riders are given adequate time to learn, prepare and improve their skills with encouragement and close supervision at all times. We are proud to say that most of our nervous candidates have often become the most confident after just a few hours training. They readily tell us how they have achieved a standard of riding that makes them feel confident and has taken them beyond the level they thought they could achieve.
We can provide help for Actor's/Models who need to ride in an awkward or bulky costumes. Just bring it along and we can help you ride and get used to it. This will help to prepare you for doing it on set.
